To celebrate the one-year anniversary of Goat's S/T album, the band handed over all the original stems to their good friend, the enigmatic producer ‘human language’, and gave him complete freedom to remix the album however he saw fit.
But let’s be clear right from the outset, this is no ordinary remix album – 'human language' was invited to inhabit inside of Goat’s sonic temple. With a copy of J Dilla’s Donuts in one hand he was encouraged to burn new incense into their music – reshaping the 8 tracks from the inside out.
And what makes 'Human Language 'Goat' Tape' so compelling is that it doesn’t sanitise Goat's rawness – it embraces it. The lo-fi aesthetic feels intentional rather than incidental – resulting in eight Goat tracks refracted through cracked drum pads and whirling incense smoke, where heavy drum loops meet the cosmic energy of Sweden's finest.
